..whatever you call it! i am very proud being a Filipino, it was so flattering and i know it's a blessing for me. next week is Independence Day of the Philippines and i know there's going to have many rallies by groups of people who doesn't want our goverment. as a Filipino youth i know i have a responsibility which i should do to make the Philippines better, it is a responsibility which every teenagers that are filipino should do; and that responsibility is that we Filipino youth should make a change even when we are young. i know that the youth are pressured because there are many expectations by the older filipinoes and we as well pressured by ourselves. there are many issues in which filipino teens have, and the main source of it is that we are pressured to be so cool and go with flow of what other youth does. i know we are very different in terms of everything; physical, emotional and etc. and that what makes a person so Unique.
i can say that filipino are so Unique, in terms of everything: do you know that in south-east asia we are the only one using our hands while eating?, and as obvious more of Filipinoes are PANGO(flat-nose) and as i know we are still proud of it(eventhough there are medical procedures to make our nose pointed), and lastly we filipino can relate to anyone of us, i know there are still unique features that filipino has and i can't even type it because if i would type it it takes years for you to read it. all of the characteristics of the filipino are so good that's why we are POPULAR. in terms of beuty: Ms. Precious Quigaman who recently won miss International 2005. in terms of Talent: there is Nicole who is the lead singer of the famous girl-group PussyCat Doll(and take note she is the Lead Singer of the group which is very famous not only in the Philippines but in the World), another one is Billy Crawford who is a prince of pop in Europe. in terms of sport: Mr. Pacuiao he prove that filipinoes are strong. it is really many to mention. Filipinoes are really POPULAR!
and as the independence day come let us prove to the world that we are a really a independent country, and as a Filipino let us use our freedom for good, DOING GOOD IS THE REAL MEANING OF FREEDOM. and let us thank on that day the real HEROES of our nation who saves us from all the abuse and bad doings of the other country who has captured us. and may we really pray for our MODERN day HEROES the OFW's and our PARENTS who are really working hard for our country as well as for us... lastly may we thank the lord for all the blessings he has given us... sigaw nyo na: PINOY AKO!
